neuTerrain is led by Scott Blair who grew up on rural properties and generational family farms in the Pacific Northwest. This early immersion in large landscaped properties instilled a respect for craftsmanship and a design philosophy rooted in uncomplicated country living.

Scott trained in Landscape Design at the New York Botanical Garden and continues to be inspired by landscapes locally and around the world. He is a member of the Landscape Design Students and Alumni Association (LDSA), Metro Hort Group, and the Ecological Landscape Alliance (ELA). Scott participates in symposia sponsored by New Directions in the American Landscape (NDAL) and Mt. Cuba Center.

The practice is based in Ulster County, NY.
